Please check out our Facebook page where we are asking  for your input concerning this year's program.  The question we are asking: What was your kids’ favorite thing about our Summer Reading Program—a book club, a magic show, craft days, seeing their poster on the wall?  We want to know!

Congratulations to all our magical readers!!  Remember that all reading logs are due on Saturday, July 23!  The Library will be open from 1 to 5 that day, so pop by and drop off your log.

Once upon a time your family gathered together at the Bee Cave Public Library. The cool air felt like an oasis against the heat of the July afternoon as you all settled in for a wonderful program of stories presented by Ms. Laurie and the Bee. Each member of your family listened and laughed as you enjoyed an afternoon of stories, snacks and crafts! You can create your own happy ending when you join us this Saturday, July 16, at 2 pm, upstairs in Community Room A, for a Saturday Family Storytime!

Attention Readers:
If you turn in your first 400 minute log by tomorrow, Saturday, July 9th, you will receive an extra prize and join the other "top" readers! 

Don't forget to pick up another blank log so that you can continue to count your reading minutes! 

The library is open Saturdays from 1 to 5 pm. 

The final day to turn in reading logs is Saturday, July 23.

Did you miss your chance to attend the American Girl Book Club in June?  Great news! It isn't too late!  The meetings held in June will be repeated in July, so pop in tomorrow, Wednesday, July 6 at 4 pm to learn more about Julie!  The American Girl Book Club meets upstairs in Community Room A.  See you there!

Magical Happenings Next Week at the Library with American Girl and Star Wars Book Clubs

Join us Wednesday, July 6, for the American Girl Book Club (ages 7-12) from 4-5 pm upstairs in Community Room B.

On Thursday, July 7, the Star Wars Book Club (1st grade and up) will be meeting with a special guest: Master Chris Abramson of Lakeway TaeKwonDo.  Master Abramson will be teaching us the ways of a Jedi Master!  Join us for this wonderful presentation, as well as a fun craft and trivia, from 4 to 5 pm.

Just a friendly reminder that The Bee is off visiting relatives this week, so there will be No Storytime at the library on Thursday, June 30 or Friday, July 1. 

The good news is that The Bee and Ms. Laurie will be back next week when our normal Storytime schedule will resume on July 7!

What a great week we've had Discovering the Magic of Reading! Remember that the fun has just begun!

Our program sign up continues through June 25th.

We have a Family Storytime this Saturday, June 11 starting at 2pm.  It will be held upstairs, above library, in Community Room A.  (All ages are welcome!)

On Tuesday, June 14 there will be a Come and Go Craft Day from 2 to 4 pm.  This event will also be held upstairs, but in Community Room B which is also located above the library.

(Ages four and up!)
